Every ingredient, not just a label
Most products carry no halal mark. KnowHalal reads the ingredient list itself: gelatin, enzymes, mono- and diglycerides, natural flavors.
Doubtful is a question, not an answer
When the label cannot settle it, the app shows the exact question to ask the manufacturer.

The maker’s own site and certifier directories are searched before anyone is emailed, with the link shown.

KnowHalal is a data product: a reviewed rule set, a product database built from public sources, and a pipeline that settles open questions in bulk. That is the same shape as a utility data migration, with different tables.
It also keeps the team current on mobile development, backend services and release engineering, which carries directly into client field apps.
